Prerequisites
This course is designed for professional Premiere Pro users and experienced editors transitioning from other non-linear editing systems such as Avid, Final Cut Pro, and Resolve. It focuses on enhancing and refining advanced editing skills, professional workflows, and expert techniques. A foundational understanding of editing principles and image manipulation is assumed.

Trainer Bio
Paul Murphy is a film editor with two decades of experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, one of the earliest to pioneer its use in long-form editing. Starting with the acclaimed documentary 'Red Obsession,' narrated by Russell Crowe and winner of the AACTA for Best Documentary, Paul has continually utilized Premiere Pro and other Adobe products in professional post-production environments. He has worked as a post-production consultant for leading media companies including ViacomCBS, HBO, Bloomberg, and Vice, and has provided training for organizations such as Future Media Concepts and the National Broadcasters Association.
Paul also runs the popular YouTube channel 'The Premiere Pro,' offering in-depth tutorials to help editors sharpen their skills. He is the co-author of the book 'The Cool Stuff in Premiere Pro' and a trainer on LinkedIn Learning, where he shares his expertise with a global audience of professionals seeking to master post-production skills.
